Jura Studium & Examen (JSE) is a legal journal that has been published since 2011 . It is issued exclusively as an electronic publication .

Content profile

The magazine is aimed primarily at law students and trainee lawyers , but also aims to contribute to the legal debate. The main focus is on topics with current political , legal political or legal ethical relevance. Contributions from previous years dealt with, among other things, legal issues relating to the Internet , surveillance by secret services , the minimum wage , forced marriages , cases of “parallel justice” in major German cities, voluntary disclosure in tax law , the immorality of prostitution and the controversial Eurobonds .

Didactic contributions such as overview essays are not published; in this way the magazine wants to differentiate itself from pure training magazines. In addition to articles, the journal also contains prepared judgments on recent case law in exam-relevant areas. In addition, exams are published for practice purposes , some of them from the state exams of previous years.

Authors, editors and advisory board

The group of authors includes lawyers from science and practice. The contributions are assessed by means of a peer review by specialist advisory boards.

Law Studies & Exams is sponsored by the association of JSE e. V. published in Tübingen . The association was founded in 2011 in the vicinity of the local group of the Phi Delta Phi legal student association , but grew far beyond that in the following years. The chairman of the association and editor-in- chief is the Ludwigsburg professor Christian F. Majer . The advisory board includes professors Rolf Stürner , Jörg Eisele , Volker Haas , Alexander Proelß , Joachim Renzikowski , Gottfried Schiemann and Dominik Skauradszun , as well as other professors, judges and lawyers .
