Justine Cotsonas (born May 31, 1985 in Mineola , New York ) is an American actress .

life and career

Justine Cotsonas, who has Greek roots, comes from the town of Mineola on Long Island , where she grew up with a brother. Her grandparents were Greek citizens. Cotsonas studied acting at the Tisch School of the Arts in New York City , from which she graduated with a Bachelor of Fine Arts . Immediately after graduation, she was cast in the soap opera Young and Passionate - As Life So Plays in 2007 in the role of Sofie Duran , who played her acting role in front of the camera. By 2008 she appeared in the role in more than 100 episodes of the long-running series.

After leaving the series, she appeared in Good Wife , Law & Order: Special Victims Unit and Nurse Jackie in guest roles.
