Juta Vanaga

Juta Vanaga (* 1982 in Sigulda , Latvian SSR ) is a Latvian actress living in Germany .

Life

Juta Vanaga grew up in Latvia and studied acting and puppetry at the Latvian Academy of Culture in Riga . From 2005 to 2009 she was a member of the Latvian National Theater , at the same time she took on roles in the independent Latvian theater scene. In 2010 she received a scholarship from the Berlin Theatertreffen and played her first German cinema role in Hans Steinbichler's film Das Blaue vom Himmel .

She has lived in Berlin since 2010 .
