Környe is a Hungarian community in the county Tatabánya in Komárom-Esztergom .
Geographical location
Környe is located in northern Hungary at the northwestern foot of the Vértes Mountains , which belong to the Hungarian Central Mountains in Transdanubia . The place is located 55 km west of Budapest , 6 km southwest of Tatabánya and 12 km south of Tata .

From the Tata-Környe junction of the M1 motorway ( European roads E 60 , E 75 Vienna - Budapest ) it is 9 km to Környe. Road No. 8119 runs through the village. Környe has a train station on the route from Tatabánya to Oroszlány .
