history

After the Balkan War of 1912/13, Bulgarian refugees from Macedonia and Thrace , today's north of Greece, (→ Thracian or Macedonian Bulgarians ) settled in today's city . Some of the simple accommodations, the so-called Sharon houses, which were built quickly, have been preserved to this day.

Until 1934 the place was called Dautlii . In 1969 Kableschkowo became a city.

In 2005 a burial mound and a settlement were discovered on the hill Kozarewa Mogila (Bulgarian Козарева могила). The oldest finds and the earliest settlement of this tell date from the Copper Age and are attributed to the Varna culture .
