Kadir Akbulut (born May 8, 1960 in Çivril ) is a former Turkish football player and coach. Through his many years of work for Beşiktaş Istanbul , he is very strongly associated with this club. Fan and club members regard him as one of the most important players in club history. With 348 first division appearances for Beşiktaş after Rıza Çalımbay (494), Ulvi Güveneroğlu (404) and Mehmet Özdilek (386), he is the player with the most Süper Lig appearances in the club's history.

Akbulut began his career in 1976 in Denizlispor's youth . In 1980 he moved to the traditional Turkish club Beşiktaş Istanbul . In the 14 successful years at Besiktas, he was five times champion and won six times the tsyd cup , four times the Supercup , three times the Cup and once the Prime Minister Cup .

National team

Akbulut played three appearances for the Turkish national team of the U-21s and one use for the Turkish national team .

Coaching career

Akbulut began to work as a coach after the end of his career. His first activity was an assistant coach at Nişantaşıspor . He then worked at Beykozspor and Silivrispor as head coach. He has been in charge of Çatalcaspor since summer 2010 .
