Kainreith is a village and a cadastral municipality in the municipality of Sigmundsherberg in the Horn district in Lower Austria .

Settlement development

At the turn of the year 1979/1980 there were a total of 108 building areas with 46,760 m² and 106 gardens on 70,450 m² in the cadastral community of Kainreith , in 1989/1990 there were 88 building areas. In 1999/2000 the number of building areas had grown to 100 and in 2009/2010 there were 130 buildings on 291 building areas.

Land use

The cadastral community is characterized by agriculture. 396 hectares were used for agriculture at the turn of the year 1979/1980 and 240 hectares were forest areas. In 1999/2000, 394 hectares of agriculture were practiced and 237 hectares were designated as areas used for forestry. At the end of 2018, 381 hectares were used as agricultural land and forestry was carried out on 239 hectares. The average soil climate number of Kainreith is 45.6 (as of 2010).
