A rarity in the Kanger Ghati: the Großkantschil

The Kanger Ghati National Park is a national park in the Indian state of Chhattisgarh . It is located 27 kilometers southeast of Jagdalpur on the Kholaba River in the Bastar district and has an area of 200 km².

The Kanger Ghati National Park was established in 1982. The name is derived from the Kanger River, which flows through the park from the northwest to the southeast. Accordingly, Kanger Ghati is called the Kanger Valley. Animals that can be found in this area are the rare Greater Kantschil (deer piglet), the Bankiva chicken, and Bengal tigers and Indian leopards . Bhaimsa Dharha is the name of the crocodile park in the Kanger Ghati.

In addition to a wide range of flora and fauna, the national park has many other sights. These include the Kutamsar, Kailash, Dandak and Tiratgarh waterfalls.
