Karl-Heinz Hess

Karl-Heinz Hess (born March 20, 1930 in Frankfurt am Main ; † July 1, 1995 there ) was a German actor .

Life

After training to be an actor, Karl-Heinz Hess (also Heß) began working at the Pfalztheater in Kaiserslautern in 1950 . Further engagements at the school theater in Darmstadt and at the Düsseldorfer Schauspielhaus followed. From the mid-1950s he played at the Städtische Bühnen in Wuppertal, later at the Volkstheater Frankfurt .

His television activity began in 1964 in the TV series Hafenpolizei . Until his death in 1995 he was seen in the theater as well as repeatedly in supporting roles on television. Hess also worked as a radio play speaker. His last appearance for television was in 1995 in a recording of the comedy Die Fünf Frankfurter by Carl Rössler in a production by the Frankfurt Volkstheater.

Hess was married to the second daughter of the Frankfurt folk actress Liesel Christ , Bärbel Christ-Hess . He was buried in their family grave in the Frankfurt main cemetery , Gewann J 296.
