Karl Christian Schweickart

Karl Christian Schweickart (also Schweikart , Schweickert or Schweikert ) (born July 9, 1769 in Reichelsheim , † November 1, 1839 in Darmstadt ) was a Hessian landowner and politician and member of the 2nd Chamber of the Estates of the Grand Duchy of Hesse .

Karl Christian Schweickart was the son of the councilor Georg Ludwig Schweickart and his wife Carolina Elisabetha Magdalena, née Kröber. Schweickart, who was Protestant, married Elisabethe nee Heilmann.

He became judicial officer in Michelstadt and in 1822 the 3rd councilor in the Michelstadt general justice office. In 1825 he became a councilor at the Darmstadt court and retired in 1833.

From 1823 to 1824 he was a member of the Second Chamber of the Estates. He was elected for the constituency Starkenburg 10 / Breuberg-Höchst .
