Karl Scherer (politician, 1862)

Karl Scherer (born February 5, 1862 in Höchst im Odenwald ; † November 10, 1931 in Darmstadt ) was a Hessian landowner and politician ( NLP ) and a member of the 2nd Chamber of the Land estates of the Grand Duchy of Hesse .

Karl Scherer was the son of the miller Georg Karl Scherer and his wife Anna Margaretha, née Friedrich, widowed Hofferberth. Scherer, who was a Protestant, was a miller in Höchst and married Eva Maria née Wolf on August 6, 1898.

From 1892 to 1893 he was a member of the Second Chamber of the Estates. He was elected for the constituency Starkenburg 3 / Höchst .
