Gottfried Büchner

Johann Gottfried Büchner (born June 16, 1851 in König ; † February 22, 1919 there ) was a Hessian politician ( NLP ), mayor of König and a former member of the 2nd Chamber of the Estates of the Grand Duchy of Hesse .

family

Gottfried Büchner was the son of the innkeeper and mayor Lorenz Büchner (1817-1860) and his wife Anna Maria née Schäfer. On August 3, 1875, Gottfried Büchner, who was of Protestant denomination, married Rebscher (1851-1918), born in King Sophi Barbara.

Gottfried Büchner worked as a farmer, beer brewer and innkeeper in König.

Gottfried Büchner was mayor in König. In the 33rd and 34th electoral terms (1906-1911) he was a member of the second chamber of the state estates of the Grand Duchy of Hesse. In the estates he represented the constituency of Starkenburg 3 / Höchst .
