Karl Heinrich Dreyer

Karl Heinrich Dreyer (born December 7, 1830 in Freiburg im Breisgau ; † November 18, 1900 in Baden ) was an imperial judge and member of the German Reichstag .

Life

Dreyer studied in Freiburg Law and received his doctorate in 1856. From 1861 to 1864 he was a lawyer in Lahr and Assessor at the Regional Court in Heidelberg . In 1865 he was appointed district judge and, after a brief resignation, was transferred to the bar as such in Constance . From 1869 to 1871 he was a member of the Appellation Senate at the District and Court Court of Offenburg and from 1871 to 1873 in Colmar . Between 1873 and 1876 he was a representative of the public prosecutor's office at the Reich Higher Commercial Court in Leipzig and from 1876 councilor at this court. In 1880 he was appointed to the Imperial Court , also in Leipzig, of which he remained a member until 1896.

From 1878 to 1881 he was a member of the German Reichstag for the constituency of Baden 6 (Lahr, Kenzingen ) and the National Liberal Party .
