Karl Pisa

Karl Pisa (born March 26, 1924 in Vienna ; † October 26, 2015 ) was an Austrian journalist, author and politician of the Austrian People's Party (ÖVP).

Life

From 1961 to 1967 he was Federal Press Officer of the ÖVP, then for a short time head of the Politics and Contemporary History department at ORF , the state radio and television company, which had just been taken over by Gerd Bacher with the aim of broadcasting reform. From January 19, 1968 to June 2, 1969 he was a member of the Federal Government Klaus II as Information State Secretary in the Federal Chancellery as part of a major government reshuffle (new Vice Chancellor, four new ministers) .
