Karl Weinhold (politician)

Karl Weinhold (born January 23, 1946 in Elterlein ; † December 3, 2018 ) was a German politician ( CDU ). From 1994 to 1995 he was a member of the Saxon state parliament .

Life

After graduating from high school, Weinhold completed vocational training as a concrete worker in 1964/65 . He then studied from 1965 to 1968 at the Apolda Engineering School , where he graduated as an engineer for concrete technology. In 1968 he worked as TKO manager and technologist in the Luckenwalde concrete plant , from 1969 to 1972 as construction manager at BMK Süd and from 1972 to 1978 as investor construction manager at Eisenwerk Elterlein. He then moved to LPG  P Schlettau , where he was Head of the Construction and Investments Department from 1979 to 1990.

Weinhold was of Evangelical Lutheran denomination, married and had two children.

Weinhold was since 1971 member of the CDU in the GDR and belonged since 1990 the CDU on. From 1972 he was a member of the local group executive committee and was local group chairman from 1988 to 1990. He was also a member of the CDU district executive in the Annaberg district from 1983 to 1988 .

Weinhold was a member of Elterlein’s city council from 1975 to 1984 and from 1989 to 1990. Since 1990 he was a member of the Elterlein town council and also belonged to the district council of Annaberg. From 1990 to 2009 he held the office of full-time mayor of the city of Elterlein, in which he established numerous businesses, a.o. a. the Takata-Petri (Sachsen) GmbH and the Max Bögl GmbH & Co. KG allowed. The incorporations of Schwarzbach and Hermannsdorf fall during his term of office .

In the state elections in Saxony in 1994 , he was elected to the Saxon state parliament via the state list of the CDU Saxony . He left the state parliament in 1995. For him, moved in July 1995 Gisela Clauß after.
