Off-the-ceiling-street

According to the address book of the city of Hanover from 1935 , Von-der-Betten-Strasse, which was laid out in 1933 in the Hanover district of Vahrenwald, was supposed to have been named "[...] after a former commander of the Military Riding Institute ". But it is probably correct that the street was named after the "teacher" Carl Ludwig von der Betten who worked at the military riding institute.
