Kasper Villaume (born May 30, 1974 ) is a Danish jazz musician (piano, composition ).

Villaume studied at the Rytmisk Conservatory of Music and with Kenny Werner and Ellis Marsalis . He worked with Ed Thigpen , Leroy Jones , Benny Golson , Jimmy Heath , Allan Botschinsky , Danny Moss , Alex Riel , Jesper Lundgaard , Katrine Madsen , Jesper Thilo and Bent Jædig . Villaume leads his own band, with which he tours internationally and has released several albums since 2002. In 2005 he was awarded a Django d'Or as "Contemporary Star of Jazz". He can also be heard on productions by Jakob Høgsbro, Bob Rockwell , Malene Mortensen , Maiken Ingvordsen, Fredrik Kronkvist and Chris Minh Doky .
