Live and act

Pechlof studied harp at the Richard Strauss Conservatory with Gudrun Haag until his graduation in 2004 ; she attended master classes with Therese Reichling, Monika Wischnowski and Godelieve Schrama. Then she began concert activities as a soloist, with chamber music ensembles such as the Pocket Philharmonic in Munich, but also played with the Stuttgart Philharmonic or in the orchestra of the Ludwigsburg Festival. As an interpreter of contemporary music , she has participated in numerous world premieres; some of the works were composed especially for them. With the singer Josette Micheler she dedicates herself to a repertoire of songs mainly from the French romantic and German classical periods. In addition, she developed her interest in improvisation and worked with the first sextet by Wanja Slavin , the Djaosch Macholi Orchestra and the Cosmic Groove Orchestra, whose album Time Has Come was nominated for the German Record Critics' Prize 2010. She studied jazz composition at the Cologne University of Music with Joachim Ullrich and Frank Gratkowski . "Her compositions bring together impressions from classical and new music with the spontaneity of jazz."

Pechlof leads a trio with Christian Weidner and Robert Landfermann , with whom she released her second album under her own name in 2018, and a sextet (with Matthias Schriefl , Philipp Gropper , Gerhard Gschlößl , Robert Landfermann and Jonas Burgwinkel ); Radio recordings with the sextet were used for a video portrait of her. She is involved in Pablo Held's album Glow , Benjamin Schaefer's Quiet Fire , Meinrad Kneer's Phosporous Ensemble and Jerker Kluge's album The Meeting with deep jazz . She also gives regular concerts with the Unterbiberger Hofmusik and was also involved in performances by the Andromeda Mega Express Orchestra and the Brandt Brauer Frick Ensemble . She also played in Niels Klein's formation Loom (record of the same name in 2016) and in the Multiple Joy (ce) Orchestra . Concert tours have taken her to numerous European countries.
