criticism

"Kati Patang" [is] only suitable for die-hard Bollywood fans (...), above all because of the not only unbelievable, but downright outrageous coincidences in this plot construct. Also the level of melodrama in some scenes, in which Asha is frozen in the pillar of horror and has to endure the accusations or the calamity, is difficult to bear for someone who has not already made close contact with Bollywood. But to all those who get along with it, the film is recommended, because of the great music, the actors that are well worth seeing and a couple of ludicrous plot developments. (from molodezhnaja.ch)
