Keli

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Keli is the name of an Austrian lemonade that is sold by "ZF Getränke GmbH" in Bad Gastein ( Salzburg ).

history

The name of the brand “Keli” is derived from the name of the beverage dealer Walter Ke sterzanek from Li nz , who first brought the lemonade onto the market in 1956 . The advertising slogan " Zisch - Frisch - Keli " quickly made Keli known. Initially, the orange and lemon flavors were offered in 0.3 liter glass bottles , soon expanded to include pineapple .

After the year 1970 the brewery AG "Keli" took over, it was in the brewery Liesing bottled. In 1990 the company Stock (Stroh-Rum) took over the lemonade company, and the bottling department moved to Linz. In 2001 the company was bought by the Croy Beteiligungs Co & KG of Clemens Prinz von Croÿ , who lived in St. Oswald ob Eibiswald , and the bottling department moved to Sollenau in a facility of the Piestinger brewery . On December 12, 2006, "Keli" changed hands again and was taken over by ProRegio Mittelstandsfinanzierungs AG in Linz . On January 13, 2007 the name was changed to ZF Getränke GmbH (from Z isch - F risch) and in 2009 the Austrian company Herbert Steinrieser from St. Gallen joined the company , where Keli was then bottled. Since 2013 the Murau brewery has also been bottling under license .

Keli has a market share of approx. 5% in Austria (according to the manufacturer). In 2011, after a 20-year absence, Keli with the iconic glass bottle was reintroduced to the catering trade.

In sport, one appeared as a sponsor of the soccer teams "FC Keli Linz" and "SV Keli Ried" in the 1990s. Currently (2015) Keli is again a sponsor of FC Stahl Linz.
