Ken Leung (born January 21, 1970 in New York City ) is an American actor .

Life

Since 1995 Ken Leung can be seen in supporting roles in the cinema. He had his best-known roles in the films Rush Hour (1998), Red Dragon (2002) and Saw (2004).

Ken Leung has worked with Brett Ratner four times : In addition to the aforementioned Rush Hour and Red Dragon , he also worked with the director in The Family Man (2000) and most recently in X-Men: The Last Resistance (2006).

From time to time he also has guest appearances in individual episodes of US television series , for example he has already played in four episodes of Law & Order . Damon Lindelof , producer and screenwriter for Lost, became aware of Ken Leung in 2007 and referred Leung to his partner, screenwriter Carlton Cuse . Cuse was impressed by Leung's acting performance in the US television series The Sopranos and wrote a role for him in the US series Lost .

In addition to his screen and television appearances, he was also seen on Broadway . He made his theatrical debut in 2002 in the musical Thoroughly Modern Millie , which won six Tony Awards .
