Khalifa St. Fort (born February 13, 1998 in Miami ) is a sprinter from Trinidad and Tobago who specializes in the 100-meter run .

Athletic career

Khalifa St. Forrt gained her first international experience at the 2015 World Youth Championships in Cali , where she won the silver medal over 100 meters in 11.19 seconds. She then won the Pan American Junior Championships in Edmonton in 11.31 s and finished fourth in the Trinidadian-Tobag 4 x 100 meter relay in 47.11 s. So she recommended herself for participation in the World Championships in Beijing , where she contributed to winning the bronze medal by the team from Trinidad and Tobago through a preliminary use . The following year, she won the CARIFTA Games in St. George’s in 11.40 seconds and won the bronze medal at the U20 World Championships in Bydgoszcz, Poland, with 11.18 seconds. With the relay she took part in the Olympic Games in Rio de Janeiro in August and finished fifth with a time of 42.12 s in the final .

In 2017 she won the 100 and 200 meters at the CARIFTA Games in Willemstad and did not finish at the World Relays in the Bahamas . At the Pan American Junior Championships in Trujillo , Peru , she won over 100 meters in 11.32 s. In addition, she qualified again for the World Championships in London , where she was eliminated in the first round over 100 meters with 11.44 s . In the relay competition she came in sixth in 42.62 s. In 2018 she took part in the Commonwealth Games in the Australian Gold Coast for the first time , where she finished sixth in the individual competition over 100 meters with 11.37 s and fourth in the relay in 43.50 s. In July she won the silver medal behind the Jamaican Jonielle Smith at the Central American and Caribbean Games (CAC) in Barranquilla in 11.15 s . Even with the relay, she secured the silver medal in 43.61 s. She then finished sixth in the NACAC Championships in Toronto in 11.28 s.

In 2016, St. Fort became the Trinidadian-Tobagian champion with the 4 x 100 meter relay.
