Kilian Jörg
Kilian Jörg (born March 7, 1990 in Vienna , Austria ) is a philosopher and artist who mainly deals with ecological thinking, epistemology and transdisciplinary research between philosophy and art.
Jörg studied philosophy in Berlin as well as with Didier Debaise at the Université libre de Bruxelles and with Arno Böhler at the University of Vienna . He is the founder of the collective philosophy unbound , which presents philosophy on stages that are otherwise mainly used for music in clubs with performances , films , music contributions , lectures and interventions . Events have so far taken place in Vienna, Berlin and Brussels as well as in Delhi and Chandigarh . He realized art projects in 2015 as part of Virgil Widrich's team at Ars Electronica ( Post City - Habitats for the 21st Century ) and in 2020 in the Innovation Laboratory of the University of Applied Arts (AIL) in Vienna ( Toxic Temple with Anna Lerchbaumer ).
Jörg writes texts for the taz , the Berlin Gazette and the music magazine skug , among others . With Die Clubmaschine (Berghain) a mixture of field reports, philosophical analysis and historical narrative about the Techno-Club Berghain in Berlin was published in 2018 . In 2020, the collection of essays Backlash followed with texts on the resilience of modernity .
