The Evangelical Lutheran , listed church of Klings is located in Kirchbergstrasse von Klings , a district of the town of Kaltennordheim in the district of Schmalkalden-Meiningen in Thuringia . Today's hall church is built in a round arch style. It has the church tower in the west and a retracted polygonal choir in the east , both of which are exposed to stone, while the nave, which is covered with a gable roof , is plastered . The tower has a pointed eight - sided slate - roofed helmet . The portal is located in a portico on the northern long side of the nave . The choir has a ribbed vault , while the nave is spanned by an open roof structure in the middle area between the galleries . The organ was built in 1878 as opus 22 by Adam Eifert .
