Building description

Interior of the building

The development of anthroposophical architecture, which is on the belief of anthroposophy of Steiner oriented, extends up to the present day out, with the original elements of Nouveau and Expressionist changed. The style of anthroposophical architecture is also understood as organic architecture that emerged at the beginning of the 20th century as a liberation from historicizing architectural styles.

The structure is made entirely of concrete . The exposed concrete makes it look like a bunker , especially because of the small windows. Covered the building with saddle - or pent roofs . The nave is a symmetrical longitudinal building . In the north there is a single-storey extension that leads to the parish hall. The portal of the church, a relief to the left and right of the entrance door , lies in the west, behind it is a small anteroom, above which the gallery for the organ is located. The large interior increases in height towards the apse , it also increases in width. The retracted apse in the east is tower- high, from the outside it looks like a bell tower . There are openings made of window glass at a great height , through which daylight falls into the altar area. The nave, on the other hand, has colored windows. The interior of the church is dominated by the large fresco on the entire surface of the wall behind the altar, which Arne Klingborg painted. Rex Raab had the rest of the artistic design . Under the church there is a crypt for ordinations on weekdays and a room for laying out .
