Classics of antiquity

Classics of antiquity is a German-language book series with the translated works from Greek and Roman antiquity, which in since 1911, Leipzig and Munich in the publishing of Georg Müller and later in the Propylaea publishing house was published in Berlin in the years 1911-1926. It consists of two series, a total of 53 in 52 volumes. The first series was published by Heinrich Conrad , the second series by Hanns Floerke . The first row comprises 27 volumes in 27 books, the second row 26 volumes in 25 books. In essence, old-fashioned translations have been reviewed and reissued. The series appeared in different configurations, one special edition in full leather, another in half leather, etc.
