Klaus Horstmann-Czech
Klaus Horstmann-Czech (* 1943 in Aussig ) is a German sculptor of Constructivism .
life and work
In 1948 Klaus Horstmann-Czech moved to Heidelberg with his parents . Here he began his graphic training, which he continued from 1965 to 1968 in Berlin . From 1969 to 1963 Horstmann-Czech headed the modern gallery and was a co-founder of the Berlin art fair. In 1974 Klaus Horstmann-Czech went to study at the Accademia di Belle Arti di Perugia in Perugia , Italy. In 1975 he returned to Berlin and studied with Bernhard Heiliger at the Berlin University of the Arts until 1978. Afterwards Horstmann-Czech was a lecturer at the Free University of Berlin from 1979 to 1984 . Horstmann-Czech received the Salzburg City Art Prize . His works are mainly made of steel , bronze and marble , often in combinations of materials. Horstmann-Czech took part in various sculpture symposia in Italy .
Klaus Horstmann-Czech lived and worked from 1985 to 2016 in the Villa Braunbehrens on the Heidelberg Kohlhof and in Marina di Carrara in Italy .
