Life is movement by Hans-Michael Kissel

The Heidelberg Sculpture Park is a sculpture park in the garden and landscape park of the Orthopedic University Hospital Heidelberg in Heidelberg-Schlierbach .

Goal setting and development

In 1995 the association “Friends and Patrons of the Sculpture Park Heidelberg e. V. “founded. Its aim is to promote contemporary art, in particular to promote young artists, to create a space for culture and recreation for patients and visitors to the clinic, and to establish a national cultural attraction in Heidelberg. Initially, Peter Anselm Riedl worked in an advisory capacity. Some of the works were purchased by the association, but the majority of the works are loans from individual artists and permanent loans, for example from the Kunsthalle Mannheim .

Exhibitions

Every year the sculpture park shows a special exhibition.
