Christoph Freimann
Christoph Freimann (* 1940 in Leipzig ) is a German sculptor and graphic artist .
biography
From 1962 to 1968 Christoph Freimann studied at the Academy of Fine Arts in Stuttgart with professors Otto Baum and Herbert Baumann . From 1973 to 1974 he received a scholarship for the Cité Internationale des Arts in Paris , and in 1976 a work scholarship from the Kulturkreis in the Federal Association of German Industry . This was followed by a stay in Rome from 1979 to 1980 , and in 1985 a work grant from the Kunstfonds Bonn Foundation . From 1987 to 1989 Freimann was visiting professor at the Hochschule für Gestaltung in Offenbach am Main . Freimann has been known for its red painted works since 1977. It combines twelve angle profiles of a cube in different sizes and lengths. This is how constructivist sculptures are created according to a strict basic concept .
Christoph Freimann is a member of the German Association of Artists . He lives and works in Stuttgart and Italy.
