The Kleindöllner See , also Kleiner Döllnsee , older also Kleiner Dölln-See is a small, natural lake in the Schorfheide in northern Brandenburg . The lake lies entirely in the area of the Groß Dölln district (town of Templin , district of Uckermark ), but right on the border with the district of Barnim. It is part of the Bollwinwiesen / Großer Gollinsee nature reserve and is therefore in the Schorfheide-Chorin biosphere reserve .
Geographical location and hydrography
The lake lies within the boundaries of the village of Bebersee , which was incorporated into Groß Dölln in 1960. Since Groß Dölln was incorporated into the town of Templin in 2003, Bebersee has only been part of Groß Dölln's municipality. Directly on the south bank is the Döllner Heide part of the municipality , approx. 200 m east of the Klein Dölln residential area , both places belong to the Groß Schönebeck part of the Schorfheide municipality , and thus already to the Barnim district. The latter residential area should not be confused with the Klein Dölln municipality in the Groß Dölln district of the city of Templin, which is only 6 km away as the crow flies.
The lake is 27.7 hectares in size, its water level is 55.7 m above sea level. NHN . Near the eastern end, the Döllnfließ enters the sea from the north , and leaves it again at the northwestern end. The shoreline is completely wooded. The lake is stably stratified and the trophic index is given by the water cadastre as 2.5, which corresponds to the border area between meso and eutrophic.
history
The lake is already used in 1514 in a location name, here it says: at the small dell , and in 1590 in another location name at the Lüttken Dellen . In 1622 it was called The Small Dellen . The Urmes table sheet from 1826 lists it as Kl. Doelln See . The name is derived from an old Polish basic form * Dol'n- zu * dol = valley, pit, depression. It usually refers to waters in lowlands. The spellings with e or ö are to be interpreted as Germanizations, in Middle Low German delle, dölle , flat, smaller subsidence in the terrain.
