Kleinnondorf is a village and a cadastral municipality in the Grafenschlag municipality in the Zwettl district in Lower Austria . The place is about 780 meters above sea level west of Grafenschlag in the headwaters of the Roitenbach on the eastern slope of the Guttenberg (855 meters). In the local area there are also the individual layers Dachlhof , Gaisruck , Oedhof , Sattelhof and Teichthof .
It was first mentioned in writing in 1380 as "Chlainn Newndorf", the name means "new village". It originally belonged to the Guttenberg rule, then came to the Weitra rule and finally to the Rapottenstein rule . After 1850 the place was then an independent municipality and on January 1st, 1967 it became part of the greater municipality of Grafenschlag.
Settlement development
At the turn of the year 1979/1980 there were a total of 35 building areas with 19,027 m² and 20 gardens on 4,655 m² in the cadastral community of Kleinnondorf , in 1989/1990 there were 43 building areas. In 1999/2000 the number of building areas had grown to 100 and in 2009/2010 there were 52 buildings on 95 building areas.
Land use
The cadastral community is characterized by agriculture. 305 hectares were used for agriculture at the turn of the year 1979/1980 and 198 hectares were forest areas. In 1999/2000 agriculture was carried out on 283 hectares and 217 hectares were designated as forest areas. At the end of 2018, 272 hectares were used as agricultural land and forestry was carried out on 219 hectares. The average soil climate number of Kleinnondorf is 23.2 (as of 2010).
