Klemens Hallmann (* 1976 in Vienna ) is an Austrian entrepreneur and investor . The Hallmann Group he founded is active in real estate projects and in the areas of investment and company holdings. With assets of around 1.2 billion euros, Hallmann reached 33rd place in the ranking of the 100 richest Austrians in 2020.

Life

Klemens Hallmann comes from a humble background in Vienna. He started working in computer companies when he was about 15 years old. At the age of 17, Hallmann left the commercial IT school and opened an import-export company in the IT sector. In 1996 he invested in a property for the first time. One year later, Hallmann founded “Klemens Hallmann Immobilienverwertung”, which later became “Hallmann Holding International Investment GmbH”. Hallmann Holding, managed by Hallmann, is one of the largest private property owners and developers in Austria. The business lines of Hallmann Holding include the management of real estate, own assets, facilities and company investments and include national and international companies.

At the end of 2018, Hallmann Holding took over 100% of the Viennese property developer SÜBA AG, which has been active in affordable residential construction for over 35 years. The core business of the rapidly growing SÜBA AG includes services in the areas of planning, building and selling condominiums in and around Vienna.

In addition to the real estate sector, Klemens Hallmann is heavily involved in the film business. He is a shareholder and supervisory board member of the international production company Filmhouse Germany AG and its subsidiaries Summerstorm Entertainment, Egoli Tossell Film New GmbH. In July 2019, Hallmann became a shareholder and supervisory board of the German media group Pantaflix AG . Hallmann is also the founder of the film and documentary production company Hallmann Entertainment Company GmbH. The films of the production companies and the actors involved in them have received nominations and awards at film awards, such as The Last Station , Carlos - The Jackal , or Rush . In total, the films that have been produced and co-produced by the three companies over the past 10 years, as well as their actors, have received over 70 international awards and 210 nominations.

On June 1, 2019, Klemens Hallmann married the German model and actress Barbara Meier in Venice . The couple have a daughter.

Sponsoring and social engagement

Hallmann Holding has been the main and name sponsor of BC Hallmann Vienna and the Hallmann Dome since the 2015/2016 basketball season . With the BC Hallmann Vienna, Klemens Hallmann places a special focus on youth work: In addition to the professional squad, youth teams in the age groups U12 to U19 as well as student teams are coached in the Hallmann Dome. A total of over 500 children and young people learn not only to play basketball, but also important values ​​such as mutual respect, fair play, discipline and team spirit. In Christmas and summer camps, the association organizes a unique sports program that is even offered free of charge to committed schoolchildren with good school reports.

Through Hallmann Holding, Klemens Hallmann supports numerous social institutions and projects that promote society. Hallmann Holding has been the main sponsor of the international climate conference R20 Austrian World Summit since 2018 . Arnold Schwarzenegger's initiative brings together politicians, companies, representatives of civil society, start-ups, actors from regions and cities as well as experts in order to strengthen partnerships, exchange experiences and ideas and enable concrete, sustainable climate protection projects. Since 2019, Hallmann Holding has also been the main sponsor and presenter of the European Culture Prize TAURUS , which is awarded to people and institutions with vision and creativity who have successfully contributed to cultural life in Europe.

In addition, Hallmann Holding supports many different organizations such as B. the Austrian Red Cross , the Mirno More Peace Fleet , Light in the Dark , Mission Hope , the United Global Academy or the Ronald McDonald Children's Aid.
