Oskari, a shy 13-year-old boy who lives in Finland, has to spend a whole night alone in the forest due to a tradition in his village. There he is supposed to prove that he is a real man by killing a wild animal with only the help of a bow and arrow. At the same time that is Air Force One of the US attacked President of terrorists and crashed. President William Alan Moore can only barely escape the plane and be brought to safety. He is finally found by chance by Oskari in a rescue capsule in the middle of the forest. For the next few hours the two are left to their own devices and a struggle for survival begins for them, which they can only overcome together. But it soon becomes clear that the forest is not the only danger; the assassins have also found their trail and are on their heels. After a long search trying to find the American Special Forces team, Oskari finally has to prove his strength by saving the President, and so both of the assassins around Morris, a Secret Service agent, and Hazar, his employer, escaped.
