history
The former small estate village Wickiau basically consisted of only one large farm. It was in the south of what is now the Klinzowka settlement. On July 17, 1896, it was decided to merge the possessions of Nuskern (today Russian: Besymjanka), Wickiau, Wiskiauten (Mochowoje) and Wosegau (Wischnjowoje) in the manor district of Wosegau. Until 1939 it belonged to the district of Fischhausen , from 1939 to 1945 to the district of Samland in the administrative district of Königsberg in the Prussian province of East Prussia . As early as January 1, 1929, the two Wosegau districts of Wickiau and Wiskiauten were reclassified into the municipality of Cranz (Zelenogradsk).
In 1945 northern East Prussia and with it Wickiau came to the Soviet Union . In 1950 the place was given the Russian name Klinzowka and was assigned at the same time to the village soviet Cholmski selski Sowet in Primorsk Raion . In 1959 the place became part of the Vishnevsky selski Sowet . In 2002 Klinzowka was incorporated into the city of Zelenogradsk .
church
Before 1945, the inhabitants of the small estate Wickiau were almost all of the Protestant denomination. The village was incorporated into the parish Laptau (today Russian: Muromskoje) in the parish of Königsberg-Land II within the church province of East Prussia of the Church of the Old Prussian Union . Today Klinzowka is in the catchment area of the Evangelical Lutheran Congregation in Zelenogradsk (Cranz) , a branch of the Resurrection Church in Kaliningrad (Königsberg) in the Kaliningrad provost of the Evangelical Lutheran Church of European Russia .
