history

It was already in the year 1254 when the Prussian Free Ponatho was given real estate in Wosegau, whereby he or his heir son was obliged to serve in the war for the Teutonic Order and to build castles. Exclusively Prussian free people were still landowners in Wosegau around 1400. In 1533, Duke Albrecht Wosegau converted it into an estate. In 1636 an Ernst Rappe owned Wosegau, as well as the goods in Bledau (today in Russian: Sosnowka) and Wargienen (Malinowka). Representatives of the Korff family were the owners until 1820 . In 1822 Wilhelm Ephraim Tortilowicz von Batocki bought the property, which was subsequently leased. The last mistress on Wosegau with an area of 351 hectares until 1945 was Ada von Brandt , the daughter of Adolf Tortilowicz von Batocki-Friebe .

On June 13, 1874 was Wosegau seat and the eponymous site of the newly built office district Wosegau in district Fischhausen in the administrative district of Konigsberg the Prussian province of East Prussia . Only the manor district of Wosegau belonged to this administrative district . On July 17, 1896 it was decreed that the possessions of Nuskern (today Russian: Besymjanka), Wickiau (Klinzowka), Wiskiauten and Wosegau should form the Wosegau manor district. In 1896, the Cranzkrug estate , which had been free from communes, was incorporated into the Wosegau manor district, but parts of it were immediately reclassified to the rural community of Cranz (Selenogradsk). In the years 1898, 1900, 1902, 1921, 1926 and 1928, parts were reclassified from Wosegau to Cranz. On January 1, 1929, the districts of Wickiau and Wiskiauten were finally reassigned to Cranz, while the Nuskern Vorwerk with the rural communities of Kiauten (Luschki) and Laptau (Muromskoje) and the Laptau manor district were merged to form the new rural community of Laptau. On April 23, 1930, the Wosegau district was dissolved.

As a result of the Second World War , northern East Prussia and with it Wosegau came to the Soviet Union . The place received the Russian name Vishnevoye in 1947 and was at the same time classified in the village soviet Cholmski selski Sowet in Primorsk Raion . In 1959 the place itself became the seat of a village soviet. In 2002 Vishnevoye was incorporated into the city of Zelenogradsk .

Wosegau district (1874–1930)

The Wosegau district, which existed from 1874 to 1930 and belonged to the Fischhausen district , was only incorporated into one place, namely the Wosegau estate itself.

Wischnjowski selski Sowet / okrug 1959 (–2005)

The village soviet Vishnevsky selski sovet (Вишнёвский сельский Совет) was established in Primorsk Raion in 1959 . He was primarily the successor of the dissolved Cholmski selski Sowet , but also places from the dissolved Melnikowski selski Sowet and the Romanowski selski Sowet came into this village soviet. The administrative seat was initially the place Vishnevoye. Before 1988 the administrative headquarters were moved to Kowrowo . After the collapse of the Soviet Union , the administrative unit existed as the village district Wischnjowski selski okrug (ru. Вишнёвский сельский округ). Around 2000, the name of the village district was changed to Kowrowski selski okrug (ru. Ковровский сельский округ). In 2002 some places, including Vishnevoye, were incorporated into the city of Zelenogradsk . In 2005 the remaining places of the village district were taken over into the newly formed rural community Kowrowskoje selskoje posselenije.

The former Wosegau did not have its own church, but was - with a predominantly Protestant population - parish until 1945 in the parish of Cranz / Sarkau (today in Russian: Selenogradsk / Lesnoi). That belonged to the parish of Königsberg-Land II within the church province of East Prussia of the Church of the Old Prussian Union . The relationship with the municipality in Zelenogradsk has remained for today's Vishnyovoye. It is a subsidiary of the Church of the Resurrection in Kaliningrad (Königsberg) within the Kaliningrad provost of the Evangelical Lutheran Church of European Russia .
