World Church Commission

The World Church Commission (KX) is one of 14 commissions of the German Bishops' Conference .

tasks

The commission looks after the international relations of the German Bishops' Conference (DBK); the main focus is on cooperation with other (continental, regional and national) episcopal conferences . In addition, the KX is responsible for the cross-diocesan work of the universal Church in Germany, especially for the relief organizations , whose activities it coordinates and guides.

The KX's range of tasks also includes interreligious dialogue . She works closely with the German Justitia et Pax Commission on issues of development, peace and human rights .
