The Koppenweihergraben is a left and eastern tributary of the Altmühl near Gunzenhausen in the Weißenburg-Gunzenhausen district in Central Franconia .

The Koppenweihergraben rises not far from the federal highway 466 in the Graefensteinberg forest west of the Kammerberg between Geislohe in the north and the Heidweiher in the south at an altitude of 439  m above sea level. NN . Shortly afterwards it flows through the eponymous Koppenweiher . The stream flows steadily in a south-westerly direction through a wide open landscape . The stream flows south past Laubenzedel and north past Schlungenhof . It passes under the district road WUG 22 , the railway line Würzburg-Treuchtlingen and the federal road 13 . The Koppenweihergraben flows after a run of around four kilometers at an altitude of 413  m above sea level. NN from the left into the Altmühl.

The stream has numerous unnamed tributaries. There is a connection via the Schnackenweiher to the Laubenzedeler Mühlbach .
