Location of Geislohe in Bavaria

Geislohe is a district of Haundorf in the central Franconian district of Weißenburg-Gunzenhausen . The place has 39 inhabitants and is located at an altitude of 450 m above sea level.

The hamlet is located in the Franconian Lake District , approx. 1.5 km west of Graefensteinberg and 4 km north of the city of Gunzenhausen . The federal highway 466 passes to the east and there is a sewage treatment plant 300 m to the west. This is also where the Geislohergraben rises and flows into the Schnackenweiher 1 km further west . Until the municipal reform in Bavaria , which came into force on July 1, 1972, Geislohe was part of the municipality of Graefensteinberg in the former district of Gunzenhausen .

There is another place within the Weißenburg-Gunzenhausen district with the same name: Geislohe , part of the nearby municipality of Pappenheim .
