Thierhof is a district of the municipality of Haundorf in the Weißenburg-Gunzenhausen district , Middle Franconia .

location

The wasteland is in the Franconian Lake District , 3.5 km from Haundorf and about 9 km northeast of Gunzenhausen . The Mönchswald forest begins directly to the west . There is a pond at the site, through which the Saugraben , which rises in the Mönchswald, flows. Communal paths connect Thierhof with the Obererlbach, approx. 700 m away.

history

In the topo-geographical-statistical lexicon of the Kingdom of Bavaria from 1832, it is said that Thierhof is a hamlet with 2 houses and 16 inhabitants. Until 1976 Thierhof was part of the Obererlbach community . In the course of the municipal reform , both places were incorporated into Haundorf.
