Seitersdorf is a district of the community Haundorf in the district of Weißenburg-Gunzenhausen , Middle Franconia .

location

The place is about 8.5 km northeast of the city of Gunzenhausen and 2 km east of Haundorf on the district road WUG 22. The federal road 466 is about 500 m in an easterly direction. The Seitersdorfer Bach , which rises to the west of the village, flows into the Erlbach near the B 466 .

history

In the Salbuch of the Spalter Kollegiatstiftes from 1619 2 goods are listed for Seitersdorf. One was exchanged in 1598 by the Nuremberg owner Hans Rieter.

In the topo-geographical-statistical lexicon of the Kingdom of Bavaria from 1832, Seitersdorf (also Seutersdorf) is described as a hamlet with 22 houses and 100 inhabitants. At that time the place belonged to the parish of Graefensteinberg .
