FIBA European Cup Winners' Cup 1982/83

The 1982/83 season was the 12th season of the Korać Cup held by FIBA Europe .

As in the previous year, the title was won by CSP Limoges from France .

mode

26 teams from 14 nations took part. After the qualifying round, 20 teams played an elimination round. The winners of these games qualified for the group stage, which consisted of four groups of four teams each. The first in each group reached the semi-finals, followed by the final. The winners of the pairings in the qualifying round, the first round and in the semifinals were determined in the first and second leg. The final was played in one game at a neutral location.
