The 1989/90 season was the 19th season of the Korać Cup held by FIBA Europe .
Joventut de Badalona from Spain won the title for the second time .

32 teams from 13 nations took part. After the qualifying round, the 32 teams played an elimination round. The winners of these games qualified for the group stage, which consisted of four groups of four teams each. The first two in each group reached the quarter-finals, followed by the semi-finals and the final. The winners of the pairings in the qualifying round, the second round, the quarter-finals, the semi-finals and the final were determined in the first and second leg.
