FIBA European Cup Winners' Cup 1977/78

The 1977/78 season was the 7th season of the Korać Cup held by FIBA Europe .

The title was won by KK Partizan Belgrade from Yugoslavia .

mode

31 teams from 12 nations took part. First, the 31 teams played an elimination round. The winners of these games qualified for the group stage, which consisted of four groups of four teams each. The first in each group reached the semi-finals, followed by the final. The winners of the pairings in round 1, round 2 and in the semi-finals were determined in the first and second leg. The final was played in one game at a neutral location.
