The 1985/86 season was the 15th season of the Korać Cup held by FIBA Europe .

The title won Banco di Roma Virtus from Italy .

26 teams from 9 nations took part. After the qualifying round, 20 teams played an elimination round. The winners of these games qualified for the group stage, which consisted of four groups of four teams each. The first in each group reached the semi-finals, followed by the final. The winners of the pairings in the qualifying round, the first round and in the semifinals, as well as the finals, were determined in the first and second leg.
