Korl Fuhrmann (born May 8, 1976 in Wolfratshausen , actually: Karl-Heinz Fuhrmann) is a German rock / metal musician . He was best known as the drummer in the band Lacrimas Profundere , with which he was active until 2011. He also plays for A Life Divided .

Life

Korl Fuhrmann was born on May 8, 1976 in Wolfratshausen . He started playing drums in 1995. Shortly after founding A Life Divided in 2003, Fuhrmann joined the band as a drummer. He joined Lacrimas Profundere in August 2005. In the spring of 2011, Fuhrmann got out again, as he was increasingly focusing on other activities, such as B. want to concentrate on tattooing.

"Urinal Prostataler Danzlmusi"

The "Urinal Prostataler Danzlmusi" is a former folk metal project by Korl Fuhrmann. The project only released the video single "Der Original Prostataler Drecksaumassakra" on March 23, 2008. Because of the storyline, the song can also be counted as Fun Metal . The five-piece "band" ( electric guitar , electric bass , trumpet , accordion and drums ) consists only of Fuhrmann, who can be seen five times in the video through the digital overlay of five different individual clips, each dressed differently and one differently Playing instrument. Fuhrmann growls the singing throughout .

The video begins with the words "This is how it sounds with us - contemporary customs of where comes from the Oberland". This is followed by a humorous interview with the “band”, conducted by “Sammy Bresl” ( corruption of “ breadcrumbs ”) on the “Kidney Stoaner Alm”. This is followed by the actual song, which combines elements of metal and traditional alpine folk music . In the text, the protagonist of the plot expresses himself derogatory and with many insults about an acquaintance named Huber (probably a neighbor), whom he describes as a Gratler . The video shows the band playing alternately sitting at a table in the “Kidney Stoaner Alm” and the carter with different costumes in nature. The idea, concept and execution come from Erik Damköhler, Korl Fuhrmann, Markus Glanz and Peter Rixner. The song was recorded in the Rixner recording studio in Tegernsee .

Alexander Melzer from the webzine The Metal Observer concludes his review of the song with the conclusion:

“I am afraid that this is a one-off project, but I would really, really hope that there is more of this in the future, because it is hilarious, highly original and, well, Bavarian! I want more! [...] ”
