The Kosový potok , also Kosí potok (German Amselbach , on the upper reaches also Wonschabach , Wunschelbach and Altbach ) is a left tributary of the Mže (Mies) in the Czech Republic .

The Kosový potok rises in the Upper Palatinate Forest , two kilometers southwest of the stone erected on the German-Czech border for the (former) center of Europe , between the mountains Dyleň ( Tillenberg , 939 m), Čupřina ( Schopfberg , 865 m), Tišina ( Die Ruh , 792 m) and Hřebínek ( Kammtberg , 703 m) at an altitude of 721.5 m. The settlement of Háj, the Onše bog ( Wonscha ) and the mineral spring Jedlová lie on its course, which initially leads east . Via Jedlová, Sekerské Chalupy, Pozorka, Vonšovský Mlýn, the brook near Valy flows into the Tachau furrow . From here to Dolní Kramolín, its valley forms the natural border between the Imperial Forest and the Upper Palatinate Forest.
