Nyíradony (Hungarian Nyíradonyi járás ) is a district in the east of the eastern Hungarian county Hajdú-Bihar . It borders on the Debrecen District to the west and the Derecske District to the south . In the north, the Szabolcs-Szatmár-Bereg county forms the border, in the east there are four municipalities close to the border with Romania ( Județul Bihor ).

history

The circle was in the context of administrative reform in Hungary in early 2013 re-founded from parts of the small area Derecske-Létavértes (Hungarian Derecske-Létavértesi kistérség ) (15.9% of the total) and the small area Hajdúhadház (Hungarian Hajdúhadházi kistérség ) (85.9% of the population ).
