The Polgárdi district (Hungarian Polgárdi járás ) was an inland district in the southwest of the central Hungarian Fejér County . It bordered on the north and east on the Székesfehérvár district , on the south on the Enying district and in the southeast to a small extent on the Sárbogárd district (municipality of Kisláng ). Somogy County formed the border to the west . The district only existed in 2013 and 2014.

history

The Polgárdi district became part of the Hungarian administrative reform at the beginning of 2013 from the Enying small area (4 communities with 7,657 inhabitants on 154.65 km² / population share: 38.4% - area share: 52.4% ) and the Székesfehérvár small area (5 communities with 12,281 inhabitants on 140.29 km² / population share 61.6% - area share: 47.6% ).
At the end of 2014 it was dissolved again and the nine parishes were divided between the Székesfehérvár district (in the north) and the Enying district (in the south).
