Krikor Ayvazian
Krikor Ayvazian (born June 27, 1912 in Marache , Syria , † January 21, 1997 ) was the Armenian Catholic Bishop of Kamichlié in Syria.
Life
Krikor Ayvazian was ordained a priest of the Armenian Catholic Church on September 6, 1936 . On December 6, 1972 he was appointed Bishop of Kamichlié and was on February 25, 1973 by the Patriarch of Cilicia Iknadios Bedros XVI. Batanian and co-consecrators Archbishop Georges layeK of Aleppo and Bishop Raphael Bayan ICBP of Ikanderiya , Egypt consecrated bishop. Bishop Ayvazian retired on November 18, 1988 and was appointed titular bishop of Marasc degli Armeni on November 23, 1988 . He was former bishop of Kamichlié until his death on January 21, 1997 . Bishop Ayvazian was co- consecrator of Joseph Basmadjan as Archbishop of Aleppo, Vartan Achkarian CAM as titular bishop of Tokat degli Armeni and Joseph Arnaouti ICPB as his successor in the episcopate of Kamichlié.
