Kristen Hamilton (born April 17, 1992 in Littleton , Colorado ) is an American soccer player who has been under contract with the North Carolina Courage in the National Women's Soccer League since the 2017 season .
Career
During her studies at the University of Denver played Hamilton from 2010 to 2013 for the local university team of Denver Pioneers and ran parallel to it in 2013 in the W-League - Franchise Colorado Rapids on for which they scored eight goals in twelve missions. In early 2014, Hamilton was committed to 36th place by the Flash in the fourth round of the NWSL's college draft . Due to a cruciate ligament injury of the player, however, Hamilton was not accepted into the team. After she had trained with the Flash again in the 2015 pre-season, she was signed with a one year delay and made her NWSL debut on April 12, 2015 against Seattle Reign FC as a substitute.
On September 3, 2019, she played her first international match in a 3-0 win over Portugal .
